Just a couple of very small observations/comments.

Based on the Finnish, mapping to PAIN seems fine, based on the English gloss not so much. I'd tentatively lean towards unmapping.

We also have 5 unmapped lists containing "agony" so perhaps I'll unmap here and instead add a new concept?

Yeah, had the same thought while looking up the concept but forgot to jot it down. I agree. :)

Interesting case again of original meaning & 'swear word meaning'. Our concept set definition is restricted to the former, the intended meaning here is probably the latter?

I left it here because we also mapped it in Janschewitz-2008-460. My reasoning back then was that the swear word has the exact same meaning as the neutral term, it's only due to social factors that it is offensive. And the same wouldn't hold for other curses a person can be called such as "bitch", "dick" or "asshole".

Makes sense, yeah. I forgot about Janschewitz, sorry. Thanks for taking the time to explain!

There is a hidden character here after the Finnish word (0x20).

Thank you for catching that!

I originally didn't map it because it also refers to the vessel rather than just the substance and our concept description is limited to the substance. But since English is also polysemous in that case it should probably still be mapped?

That was more or less my line of thinking, yeah. Might be worthwhile to check other GLASS mappings to see whether we're consistent with respect to that.

Hmm... I'd tend towards unmapping.

Could also be a good candidate for a new concept, we have some unmapped instances still waiting around. This would mean remapping some existing mappings from 134 FAULT. I'll open an issue so we can discuss?

Likewise, hidden character at the end of the Finnish word.

Changes are looking good, thank you! |
